Accreditation does not guarantee that any courses will be transferrable. In fact, the Secretary of Education's Commission on the Future of Higher Education reported that not all accredited colleges were recognizing each others' courses. Many colleges over the years have accepted our courses depending on the student's performance and area of study. The only way to guarantee that a course will transfer to another college is by contract. The Apostolic Bible Institute has such a contract with Northwestern College, an accredited school here in Minnesota where you can continue your studies in another area of interest.
Many employers are requiring a bachelor degree for employment. Your area of study or degree accreditation is often not considered. PayScale.com did a study that shows the various types of jobs in each area of study. There are a number of surprises. Many of our Alumni are working in professional fields outside of the ministry in management and leadership. The Apostolic Bible Institute's Bachelor Degree of Theology will open many doors for employment.
There have been religous and secular studies in the area of young people's transition to adulthood and its impact on their spiritual life. The Apostolic Bible Institute's record of spiritual development and faithfulness to God's Word offers young people a balanced environment of spiritual, personal, and academic growth.
Those who give their best to their studies, participation, and servanthood avail themselves to more opportunities in the ministry. Students do teach Bible studies, work in the church, and assist those in need.
